AUGUST 20, 2022 | Super Sprint, Sprint, & Olympic Races
Looking to take part in the Tri CLE Rock Roll Run but not quite up to competing? Join our staff as an official event volunteer! Volunteering involves tasks like passing out timing chips, water, and awards, preparing race food, body marking, registering athletes, and other race duties.
We will need various roles filled starting on Thursday, August 18 through race day on Saturday, August 20.
Volunteers are a big asset to every multisport race! We can't wait to have you help make this a great race weekend for our athletes!
Should you have any questions, reach out to our Volunteer and Community Outreach Director Jessica Yeager firstname.lastname@example.org
The Tri CLE team is working on the details for volunteers during race weekend.
Volunteers will need to check in at Edgewater Park before their shift to receive a volunteer t-shirt to wear. Check in at least 15 minutes before your shift starts to ensure that you make your shift on time.
Tri CLE will have snacks for volunteers, however, we highly encourage at least one 12-16oz water bottle and any specific snacks that will help keep you going throughout your shift. There will be volunteer snacks at Transition #1 & Transition #2.
Volunteers that will be at Transition #1 (North Coast Harbor) on race day, are strongly encouraged to take the shuttle from Edgewater Park. Shuttles will begin at 4:15 am and will run until Transition #1 (& swim start) are broken down.
Stay tuned for the 2022 Volunteer Guide. In the meantime, review the 2021 Volunteer Guide.
We ask that each volunteer read through this guide. Print out a guide to have on hand should you have any questions.
THANK YOU for being a big part of this race weekend!
